What's up?!
Last weekend we had a great time in de Graanbeurs Breda. Lots of people showed up to see us and Destine and Delychees were great. Even 'the good holy man' was present to see who had to take to Spain with him. Next weekend we'll do two shows in Halsteren:
Friday the 7th; Trefpunt, together with a.o. Destine
Saturday the 8th; Biebar, together with our friends from Skidmark who will unfortunately play their very last show.
So people from Halsteren and surroundings, see you next weekend!

Hi everyone!
At the end of every week you're thinking about the best way to start your weekend. We from Lennard thought it would be nice to help you guys out. So we started to think with you. And guess what? We found the best way to start the weekend from November 23. That night we'll be rocking de Graanbeurs in Breda together with our friends from Delychees and the very talented band Destine. I think it's going to be a night not to forget and we hope to see you all there.
We'll also do two shows in Halsteren, December 7 and 8. First we'll play at a festival with amongst others Destine and December 8 we'll play at the Biebar with our friends from Skidmark who unfortunately play their very last show ever. You should check them out one last time!

Yes indeed! We need y'all to support us in Dordrecht, Breda and Halsteren the next few months. More shows will be confirmed soon! We were also asked to play at Kink FM's Dutch Delight in the Mezz, Breda in November. Unfortunately we won't make it then but Otis will take our place. We'll be playing at Dutch Delight in december.

Hello hello!
Here's some little update. New shows are to be confirmed soon in amongst others Bergen op Zoom, Oudenbosch and Breda.
You can order 'Auto Reverse' by sending an e-mail to lennardrocks@gmail.com. And of course you can get yourself a copy at one of our shows! The prices in the shop have been changed and will soon be on the site also. Of course you don't have to pay for those buttons and the Flaming Penguin cd only costs €5. All shirts cost €10 nowadays.
And some more great news. We were chosen to be represented by our song Cliff on the new compilation of a dutch label. I don't know yet whether I'm allowed to give you names already, so I'll wait with that. But we'll keep you up to date.
And if you have by chance any time left, 'cause your favorite band (that's us, isn't it...?) isn't playing, also check the shows page of Wally's other band Otis (www.hail-otis.com), 'cause they'll blow your ears!

I would also like to thank anyone who posted a comment on our mp3's in our guestbook. We're working very hard and it still is our goal to release the album in January. Be a little more patient and I promise you it's worth waiting for.

Yes, wednesday we finished recording the vocals! They even gave me a chance to do some backingvocals on "Pleasin Cruel", but after one try I was politely asked never to pick up a mic again. Crap. Jay and Bouke are making a suberb mix right now.
If everything goes as planned, you'll be able to buy our cd, 10 tracks in a ultra cool digipack by the end of 2005!

News from the recording studio

At the moment we're recording the drums for our fulllength cd in the Excess studios in Rotterdam! Up to 19 mics to record my kit properly. Hell yeah and it already sounds really good! Thanks to Marc, Martijn and Stef for providing sublime gear! Next week Tom, Onno and Ernst will hit the guitars and then the recordings of the vocals can start. We expect that our cd will be ready by the end of 2005!

What's up?! It seems like this site is getting more and more alive again! Ok, two newsitems today. First of all, there finally is a new gig upcoming. February 20, we'll play in De Bruine Pij, Breda. That day lots of bands will play in different venues in Breda during the Support your local scene Festival. I believe our gig will be at 18.00 hours but more information will be online a.s.a.p.
Also important to mention is the fact that Bart will go to Bangkok in February. He will stay there for about four months. In the meanwhile (that is from now on), Onno will replace him. Because of the fact that Bart will already have left our little country before February 20, we decided that we were going to rehearse with Onno from now on. Onno used to play bass in Cumshot!
My good intention for the year 2005 is to keep this site updated, so it's something I'm going to work on! This item is posted by me (Ernst), but I'm sure that it will look like Walter posted it. That will be the first thing to be changed!

June 1, we'll do a gig in Dok 19, Breda. It will be the first of three qualifying rounds for Dokrock, a bandcontest. If we rock hard enough, we'll play again Sunday June 6, the day of Dokrock itself. Each qualifying round, one band will be chosen by a jury to play on Sunday. But you guys can also influence Sunday's line-up by choosing one band of all three qualifying rounds to play at Dokrock. Hi! Today Wally hosted Kaaipop's semi-finals. Unfortunately Mute won't play at the Kaaipop festival. But these nice guys and girl from Radical Frenzy will!
As I speak, our next gig will be in Hoeven, march 26. But hopefully we'll play some shows before. Until that time, we'll be working on some new songs that will be worth listening to!

From optional to final

Our optional gig, February 7, is final. We'll play at the 'all mixed up'
festival in De Schakel, Zevenbergen. Other bands that will perform tonight
are the Wannabeatles, the Cadillackers, Guinea Pig and Cellar Dwellars. The
doors are open at eight o'clock (that's in the evening of course!). The
damage is €7,50 (when you're not smart and buy your ticket at the doors) and

Tocado Festival

Hi! Some news here. January 25, the Flaming Penguin compilation 'The Attack of the Flaming Penguin' will be released. It will contain our song 'She's all that' and we're damn proud of it! Other bands: Heideroosjes, Undeclinable, Travoltas, the Dollybirds and many others. The release party will be in the Mezz, Breda. We'll play in the Mezz january 15. Check the gigs section!

On thursday januari 15 2004 there will be another edition of the "Scheepsrecht" festival. Scheepsrecht is a product of POB ( www.pobsite.nl) and will be held in the new popstage of Breda: The Mezz.
This time it will be the Nobodies en Lennard that will rock the stage. The bands once played together before on the -][DD][- Sk8fest in Oudenbosch. Details will follow........

Rocking in Eindhoven

Our next gig wil be on Friday november 14 in Eindhoven. We're the main act on the Friday Night Special: Punk A Go Go. The gig will be at Popei, Zoutstraat 2 in Eindhoven. Besides us the following bands wil play at Punk A Go Go: "Brainfrost", "Melon" and "Ass If".
The night will start 20:30 hours and we're on at 23:30 hours. This is your chance to get your cheers on CD, because the the whole gig will be recorded... |

Wally gig 01-10-2003
18 oktober staat Lennard samen met de Etten Leurse band “Radical Frenzy” in het voorprogramma van de Deense punkband “Gob Squad”. Dit alles vindt plaats in Wally’s Place in Roosendaal. Zoals vele wel weten heeft Wally’s Place een speciale plek in het hart van de band omdat dit de plek is waar Lennard voor de eerste maal op het podium te zien was. Wij zijn er van overtuigt dat de 18e druk en warm gaat worden bij Wally aan de tap. Be there….. (vanaf 22.00 uur).

Hitting the recording studio again. 29-09-2003
Today we're finishing "She's all that" in Studio 195 in Wernhout. We recorded it a few weeks ago and today we will do the final mixing and mastering thing. Highly likely our fresh recording will be put on a sampler
from Flaming Penguin Records in Rockendalecity. We'll let you know!

Rocking sk8 gig 22-09-2003
Yeah! And again we rocked in Oudenbosch City during the Double Dome sk8fest!
Nice sk8 party starting with the promising band The Nobodies, who unfortunately had some pretty shitty sound.
B.O.N.E.R. somehow reminded me of Cumshot when they were young (When was that?). Although Cumshot did tune their guitarz ;-) Marigold hired some clowns for the show and their guitarplayers did some fancy twinsolo's.
Finally we hit the stage and luckely did not totally fuck up ;-) Thanks to our die hard fans and see you all soon!

LENNARD ON SKATEFEST 15-09-2003
september 21 we will rock at -][DD][- SK8FEST EDITION 4. Other acts are: Skidmarks (BopZ), Marigold Circus Depresimus en B-Minus. Daarnaast veel skaters, boarders en DJ's.
It's a free open-air skate-event in the centre of Oudenbosch.
